Our Mission
Spokane Area Jewish Family Services (SAJFS) provides programs and support services to help strengthen families, children and individuals of all ages in our community, while incorporating Jewish principles, culture and values.

At any point in life you or someone you know may require assistance. SAJFS is here to help. We provide services to all in need, from those who are capable of helping themselves to those requiring greater assistance. Whether it is support during a crisis, helping you connect with others, compassionate listening, a referral, or an opportunity to perform a mitzvah, we can guide the way. Many thanks to all who donated for our annual phon-a-thon, and all who volunteered their time and efforts to secure those donations!  If you have not yet had the opportunity, please consider including SAJFS in your year-end gifts.  Your support makes a big difference in the lives of those we serve.

SAJFS presents:

Jewish Bedtime Stories & Songs for Families

Offered in partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, and with thanks to Gene and Gerry Huppin, the PJ Library provides FREE, high-quality Jewish books and music each month to any family raising Jewish children ages six months through eight years old in Spokane, Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.  What could be better than free books and CDs for kids?   Enroll your family today, or refer this program to someone you know!

SAJFS is affiliated with the 145 member

Each one is an independent, non-profit organization with the primary purpose of helping those in need.
