Vision and Mission

Spokane Area Jewish Family Services is a community offering family oriented programs and services that incorporate Jewish values, ethics, culture, and the tradition of helping people help themselves.

Jewish Family Services organizations throughout the United States work to meet the social service demands of those in need.  Jewish Family Services (JFS) is an organization that can be found in many communities with an established Jewish population.  In the pursuit of tikun olam (fixing the world), many JFS organizations focus on assisting the elderly, families, and children.  While each local office is an independent nonprofit organization, all share a similar philosophy: to help those in need.
